INTRODUCTION: Robotic-assisted transabdominal preperitoneal repair (R-TAPP) was first described in 2007. Since then, the procedure has gained increasing popularity, particularly in the United States, where its use surpassed laparoscopic repair in 2022. Mitral valve therapy is rapidly evolving. In this context, there is a clear evolution towards the diffusion of minimally invasive techniques for surgical mitral valve replacement or repair, namely in the context of primary mitral regurgitation. The robotic-assisted mitral surgery strategy allows the greatest reduction in surgical trauma to the patients, as well as improved ergonomics and video-assistance for performance of the mitral procedure. BACKGROUND: Bucket-handle medial meniscal tears represent a common subset of meniscal injuries, particularly among younger athletes. In cases requiring operative intervention, the inside-out technique for medial meniscal repair remains the gold standard.
INDICATIONS: We present a technique video for the repair of a bucket-handle medial meniscal tear in a young athlete who sustained a meniscal injury while playing soccer, resulting in mechanical symptoms. The tear was noted to remain within the peripheral vascular zone of the meniscus, making him a favorable candidate for operative repair.

We encountered a rare case of pulmonary sequestration supplied from the right renal artery, which was resected by video-assisted thoracic surgery with carbon dioxide insufflation and indocyanine green-guided technique. A 41-year-old woman with intralobar pulmonary sequestration supplied from the right renal artery was referred to our department. At the time of surgery, we used carbon dioxide insufflation to improve the manoeuvrable workspace for shutting off aberrant arteries and indocyanine green fluorescence guidance to differentiate the boundary of the sequestered lung from the normal lung.

PURPOSE: Minimally invasive radical nephrectomy is often preferred for larger renal tumours not suitable for partial nephrectomy (1). When performed with a multiport robot, the procedure is routinely performed with a transperitoneal approach, with recent studies highlighting important factors for surgical outcomes, including predictive factors (2), segmental artery unclamping techniques (3), and comparisons of robotic techniques (4).
