The metabolism and in vivo kinetics of fibrinogen were studied using homologous 125I-labelled fibrinogen in 21 children with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL). Ten patients were undergoing induction therapy, 11 children were in complete remission on maintenance therapy. The water soluble, chemically reactive thioglycollic acid thioether derivatives of oxazolone and picryl chloride were synthesized and tested for their ability to prevent the development of contact sensitivity. Pathogenic Leptospira species are the etiological agents of leptospirosis, a widespread disease of human and veterinary concern. In this study, we report that Leptospira species are capable of binding plasminogen (PLG) in vitro. BACKGROUND: Sucrose allyl ether (SAE) containing hemostatic drugs and a photoinitiator was established to treat mild postpartum hemorrhage or long-term continuous abnormal uterine bleeding in minimally invasive surgery (MIS) using a photopolymerization method.
