Simultaneous removal of three polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (acenaphthene, fluorene and fluoranthene) co-existing with three heavy metals (Ni, Pb and Zn) in artificially contaminated soil from the vicinity of an oil refinery was examined by column flushing of solutions containing Triton X-100 + Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) and Tween 80 + EDTA at three levels of surfactant concentrations. Square-planar Pt(II) complexes of the bis(mesitylimino)acenaphthene (mesBIAN) ligand are emissive from a MMLL'CT excited state in a dichloromethane solution at room temperature. Soot-associated PAHs were exposed to simulated sunlight to investigate disappearance rates under environmental aging conditions and to examine the robustness of diagnostic ratios for PAH source apportionment. Experimental and theoretical results concerning the growth and isomerization of chlorinated acenaphthylene, C12H8, during the pyrolysis of chlorohydrocarbons are presented here. A fullerene subunit, C12H8, is a useful system to investigate regarding C60 formation. A fluorimetric method for simultaneous determination of dissolved acenaphthylene (Ace) phenanthrene (Ph) and pyrene (Py), mixed in an aqueous mineral salts medium (MSM), was developed. Our work aims to purify, characterize and evaluate a laccase from by-products of the shrimp farming industry (Litopenaeus vannamei) for the degradation of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) from 2019 oil spill in Brazilian coast.
