Acinic cell carcinoma (ACC) is the third most common epithelial malignancy of the salivary glands in adults, with a low-grade malignancy that mainly occurs in the parotid gland and at a relatively younger age than other salivary gland tumors. We made a retrospective study on our acinic cell carcinoma casuistry aiming their clinico-pathological characterization and comparison with literature data. The paper reports on the endocrine-gynecologic syndrome of genital tuberculosis in the woman. The localization of the disease has a much higher incidence than it is currently believed by gynecologic and endocrinologic practitioners. The casuistry and pathogenic data exposed herein are aimed at reminding this situation. A selective list of references comes in support of authors' observations.

The injured person was pulled inside of a conveyer and while shifting, not only his arm and physical (brachial) plexus was damaged, but he was also and especially, strangled by his clothes and he was seriously asphyxiated, which origin was in the first phase unexplainable.

A case of de novo double independent balanced translocation t(1;7)(q44;q22), t(8;10)(q22;q26) in a girl with mild phenotypical stigmata is reported. Beside hyposomia with retarded bone age and slightly dysmorphic ear, no other abnormality was detectable and the psychomotor development was normal. A review of the similar casuistry in literature is made.

Cholelithiasis has long ceased to be casuistry in childhood. In connection with the steady tendency for it to grow, it has increased the number of surgical interventions on the occasion of holelitiazis. The removal of the gall bladder in some patients is accompanied by disorders on the part of the digestive system, identified as postcholecystectomical syndrome. The article describes the risk factors and mechanisms of the formation of the postcholecystectomical syndrome in children.

The authors show a casuistry of 125 operations of SPV, and comment on the clinical and physiopathologic presuppositions justifying the indications to SPV in the field of gastroduodenal peptic pathology. They report the results of the gastric probings, both basal and after stimulation with pentagastrin in the pre- and postoperative phase, and after a year. They face the problem of pyloroplastics, and appraise the elements indicating and contra-indicating it in association to SPV.

Pemhigus vulgaris is an autoimmune bullous disease of the integument. When not treated, it has a high mortality, the treatment with corticosteroids and immunosuppressives has serious side effects. Our casuistry gives a case of patients with histologically verified diagnosis of pemphigus vulgaris. In this case the stabilization of the disease was difficult and side effects of the combined immunosuppressive therapy developed very early.

The present casuistry study deals with condylomata acuminata-like lesions of the vulva of two sexually mature 20 and 22 years old Turkish sisters, and a 34 year old Yugoslavian women. Based on clinical and histological particularities the verruciform structures are interpreted as - atavistic? - malformation without functional significance. Their relation to the papillas of corona glans are proved in detail.

On the basis of phenomenological particularities the described case of a triple murderer of women from East Berlin proves to be complementary to the casuistry of multiple homicide. In one day a 30-year old autopsy assistant killed three intimate female partners, ultimately his wife, in their respective dwellings. The first two homicides were test killings. The perpetrator was executed in 1970.

The acute syndroms of the brainstem of cerebral injuried newborns by the birth trauma (casuistry). The neurologic clinical symptomatology of the acute syndroms of the brainstem are described in brief. Three cases of damaged newborn with this syndroms are particular published. Especially performed are: the possibility of repair, the changing of the symptoms, the danger of manual transformation of abnormous cephalic positions and the need of topological diagnosis in follow-up of special care.

The casuistry describes the invagination that occurred to a 67-years old patient due to the small intestine lipom. The patient with the three-day abdominal pain and vomiting was admitted to the department of surgery. On the basis of the CT examination the patient underwent an operation for the invagination of the small inkotine. The resection of the invaginated loop, the anastomosis end to end were performed. Histologicaly the submucosus lipom was found.

The Authors report their therapeutic experiences with RO 5/4023 begun in 1969, on some hyperkinetic syndromes. The casuistry includes six cases of facial spasm, three cases of Huntington disease, three cases of benign essential tremor, one case of Gilles de La Tourette disease. The favourable results of the drug are estimated in percentage that in somecases has reached 70%.

Casuistry of a 59-year-old woman is presented. The patient was examined for nephrotic syndrome with relapsing stenosis of vena cava inferior treated with stent implantation and with severe protein-caloric malnutrition. She had macroglosy, mild hepatomegaly, severe impairment of gastrointestinal motility, and had in her history an operation of carpal tunnel. It took two years to establish the diagnosis, which was amyloidosis of AL.

A case pertaining to legal psychiatric practice is described: the development of dusk clouding of consciousness in a patient with chronic alcoholism after the intake of indomethacin in high doses, foregoing insomnia and episodic alcohol abuse. Possible casuistry of the case forms no basis for ignoring the fact that in legal psychiatry, analogous episodes because of the intake of the high doses of certain drugs including indomethacin may be repeated.

The authors show two cases of dissecting osteochondritis of elbow, confirming the frequent absence of a clinical symptomatology in the initial stages of such disease and the benignancy of its course. From a careful study of the casuistries present in literature, what emerges is the rareness of this location, together with a prudent therapeutical trend with periodic clinical and radiographical checkings, reserving the surgical solution to the cases of articular free body with episodes of block.

The experience about 73 defecographic exams performed in pediatric age is reported. The casuistry is critically analyzed, taking into consideration the most recent non radiological diagnostic improvements. In the authors' opinion, defecography in pediatric age is advisable in the diagnosis and post-operative control of fecal incontinence. In the other cases radiology may be substituted by other less invasive and sometimes more precise methods.

Evaluation of medical management in cases of deaths of women in childbirth often poses significant problems. Based on the available casuistry of the Forensic Medicine Department of the Medical University of Warsaw, the authors attempted an assessment of medical management based on the analysis of medical records from the period 1999-2007 along with the results of autopsies and histopathological examinations in selected cases of deaths, emphasizing the principles of management and therapeutic possibilities in amniotic fluid embolism.

We read with great interest the letter from Pérez Naranjo et al. regarding the case we recently published in this journal. We believe that the case presented by the authors is undoubtedly useful as it contributes to the scarce existing casuistry on the relationship between COVID-19 and the development of pneumatosis/pneumoperitoneum. We would like to emphasize the difficulty of determining the causality of this association due to the frequent co-occurrence of other causes that could justify the presence of pneumatosis/pneumoperitoneum.

Such Authors value the importance of the arthrosis of the posterior vertebral articulations in the genesis of back pain with or without sciatica. A particular attention must be put on the correct differential diagnosis of the various back pains. They furthermore present their casuistry. The made results through endoarticular injection of steroid and local anesthetic are good. 78% of the subjects has gone back to work; even though this treatment must be considered only one mean to permit a better physical and natural activity.
