Primary choriocarcinoma of sinonasal tract has not been previously documented. The aim of the study was to report, for the first time, 2 cases of primary sinonasal choriocarcinoma. The authors report four cases of primary intracranial choriocarcinoma, all in young males. There tumors occurred in the pineal region and one in the lateral ventricle. Besides the signs of increased intracranial pressure and ophthalmological disorders, skin pigmentation or eruption was observed in three cases and precocious puberty in two cases. A case of a choriocarcinoma within the third ventricle in an eight-year-old girl is described. The patient died suddenly five days after operation. The post mortem examination showed an intraventricular hemorrhage with obstruction of the foramina of Monroe. An additional case in a 16-year-old young man, with similar location and without necropsy, is described. Discussion of the primary origin and etiology of these tumors is presented.

Choriocarcinomas are epitelial tumors with a rapidly growing rate and widely metastatic tumor of trophoblastic cells. Incidence have been reported 1 in 24,096 pregnant patients. Most cases arise in the uterus following gestational events. It can also be gonadal or extragonadal. primary gastric choriocarcinoma is rare, represents 0.08% of all gastric cancers. Clinical presentation is very similar to adenocarcinomas but they can present seric β-GCH elevation. The main objective is present three cases of primary gastric choriocarcinoma with an initial miss diagnosis of adenocarcimoa.

Choriocarcinoma is one of the most serious forms of gestational trophoblastic tumor. It is a malignant tumor from the epithelium of the chorionic villi. The most frequent location site is the uterus. Associated with ectopic pregnancy, it is extremely rare and in general, very aggressive. A 1-month-old infant died from extensive intracerebral hemorrhage due to a metastatic choriocarcinoma to the brain that presumably originated in the placenta. The clinical course was characterized by hyperbilirubinemia, repeated episodes of seizures, and intracranial hemorrhage.
