Monthly changes of the content-ratio between S-(-)- and R-(+)-hyoscyamine as well as those between S-(-)- and R-(+)-scopolamine in the leaves of Datura metel L. cultivated in the field, were quantitatively analyzed by the use of HPLC with a chiral adsorbent.
