Two patients who had previously experienced old myocardial infarction and who died suddenly after an attack of chest pain were examined and discussed. The authors describe the use of preoperative embolization of glomus tumors in 7 patients. In two cases a nonresorbable substance (IBCA) was used for the embolization, and no subsequent operation was needed. They therefore suggest that embolization could be a definitive treatment and an alternative to surgery.

OBJECTIVES: To report a case of high flow priapism and to review its diagnostic methodology and treatment options.
METHODS: A 25-year-old patient consulted with prolonged erection after penile trauma. Colour Doppler ultrasound and angiogram were performed to confirm diagnosis. Cavernous artery selective embolization with reabsorbable material was performed.

PURPOSE: To evaluate the feasibility, safety, and efficacy of the TRAP Vascular Filtration System (VFS) during carotid interventions as a deterrent to embolic complications.
