This case report highlights a rare occurrence of an isolated manubrium fracture in a 17-year-old high school football quarterback. Such fractures are uncommon in athletes despite the high-impact nature of contact sports. The injury was sustained during a tackle and confirmed via imaging as an oblique fracture to the right lateral manubrium with minimal posterior displacement. There is a wide variation in the severity of median clefts of the lower lip and mandible. We report a severe case demonstrating clefts of the lower lip and mandible together with lack of supporting structures in the neck and upper sternum. Since a case with a cleft of the manubrium sterni is very rare, the literature is reviewed and discussed.

Its treatment poses a significant therapeutic challenge due to the tumor's proximity to the mediastinal organs and the clavicles. The lymphatic drainage of cutaneous melanomas located on the upper trunk is often complex and sometimes follows an unexpected pattern. Occasionally, even direct drainage to cervical lymph nodes is seen.
