Excess risk of subsequent cancers has been documented in women diagnosed with ovarian cancer. We updated to 2006 data on second cancers in women diagnosed with invasive and borderline ovarian cancer in the Swiss canton of Vaud. Massive ovarian edema is an uncommon benign condition affecting young females predominantly those in the child bearing age group and preadolescent girls. Its clinical and radiologic overlap with ovarian neoplasms and torsion which require surgical intervention makes it imperative for the radiologist to consider this entity preoperatively as preserving fertility is vital in this young age group. We report a case of massive ovarian edema, a rare presentation in a patient with inferior vena cava web and consequent Budd Chiari Syndrome, an association previously unreported in literature.

BACKGROUND: Mucinous epithelial ovarian (mEO) tumors are rare entities. In this study, we describe the management and outcomes of patients treated for mucinous borderline tumor and mucinous adenocarcinoma of the ovary.
METHODS: This was a retrospective review of patients with mEO tumors from 1988 - 2021 from a single institution database. Primary outcomes were disease recurrence and death within five years post-surgery, evaluated using Cox proportional hazards and Kaplan-Meier survival analysis.

BACKGROUNDS: Mucinous cystic neoplasms (MCNs) of the pancreas are rare, but have recently been increasing in incidence. The aim of this retrospective clinical study was to elucidate the clinicopathological features and prognosis of MCNs with ovarian stroma at a single centre.
