PURPOSE: Rosacea is one of the most common conditions affecting the ocular surface. The purpose of this review is to provide an update on the pathogenesis and treatment of rosacea based on the dermatology and ophthalmology literatures.
METHODS: Literature searches were conducted for rosacea and ocular rosacea. Preference was given to systematic reviews, meta-analysis, case-controlled studies, and documented case reports while excluding poorly documented case studies and commentaries. The data were examined and independently analyzed by more than two of the authors.

Four subjects considered resistant to motion sickness were tested in KC-135 parabolic flight to examine ocular torsion at hypo- and hypergravity. Three of these showed no significant torsion at zero G in either the upright position or when tilted 30 degrees to right or left. This review summarizes the experimental evidence that supports the role of dopamine in the regulation of ocular axial growth. The most important functions attributed to dopamine are light adaptation and regulation of the retinal circadian rhythm. The link between human ocular morphology and attractiveness, especially in the context of its potential adaptive function, is an underexplored area of research. In our study, we examined the association between facial attractiveness and three sexually dimorphic measures of ocular morphology in White Europeans: the sclera size index, width-to-height ratio, and relative iris luminance. PURPOSE: To present a new framework for the analysis of the light-adapted electroretinogram using Functional Data Analysis (FDA).
METHODS: Light adapted full-field electroretinograms and extracted Oscillatory Potentials waveforms were analyzed using an FDA approach. Waveforms from 71 individuals with autism spectrum disorder and 98 Control participants (mean ± SD age in years): ASD (12.8 ± 4.4) and Control (13.5 ± 4.7) were reanalyzed from previous studies. Robust and powerful nonparametric permutation-based tests were developed for the mean, variance, and first derivative of the waveforms.
