Advanced Urologic Cancer Consensus Conference (AUC3) 2025: Expert consensus on the management of renal cell and urinary tract cancers.

The therapeutic landscape for renal cell carcinoma (RCC) and urinary tract cancer (UTC) has transformed dramatically, creating complexity in treatment selection and sequencing. The 2025 Advanced Urologic Cancer Consensus Conference was convened to establish evidence-based expert consensus recommendations for optimal management. A multidisciplinary panel of 51 experts participated in a modified Delphi process addressing questions developed through iterative consensus-building covering RCC and UTC management. Voting occurred before and after the conference, and analyses focused on postmeeting re

EUropean consensus on the Resolution Of SympToms After oesophago-gastric Resection (EUROSTAR): Peri-Operative Quality Initiative (POQI) consensus statement.

BACKGROUND: Symptoms after upper gastrointestinal (UGI) cancer surgery are common, frequently overlap, and can substantially affect quality of life. Despite increasing recognition of this problem, there is limited standardisation in the definition, investigation and management of the postoperative conditions responsible for these symptoms. METHODS: A society-endorsed, European-wide series of consensus meetings was conducted using a modified Delphi process developed by the PeriOperative Quality Initiative (POQI). A multidisciplinary panel of experts from 10 European countries, selected for the

Development of consensus-based standards for a National Clinical Audit of Perioperative Care: protocol for a modified Delphi consensus study.

INTRODUCTION: Variation in perioperative care delivery and outcomes persists across healthcare systems, contributing to differences in patient experience, efficiency and outcomes. National clinical audits play a central role in benchmarking practice and supporting quality improvement. However, there is currently no unified, consensus-derived set of standards to underpin a comprehensive national audit of perioperative care across specialties in the UK. This proposed modified Delphi will develop a core set of standards to support benchmarking for the newly commissioned National Clinical Audit of

Digital Sexual Practices, Consensual and Non-Consensual Experiences and Wellbeing Consequences in the CSF-2023 French National Survey.

INTRODUCTION: Digital technologies have reshaped relationships and sexual practices, both in terms of sexual well-being and through the emergence of cyberharassment. However, evidence remains limited, however, on how these practices vary by gender, generation, sexual orientation, and social position. This article aims to describe the frequency of online sexual experiences and their correlates in a large national sample. METHODS: The study draws on CSF-2023, a cross-sectional survey of sexuality in France. The sample comprises 15,906 individuals aged 18-59 who reported information on their onl

Consensus terminology for preclinical phases of psoriatic arthritis for use in research studies: results from a Delphi consensus study.

The concept of psoriatic arthritis (PsA) prevention is gaining increased interest owing to the physical limitation, poor quality of life and low remission rates that are achieved with current therapies for PsA. The psoriasis-to-PsA transition offers a unique opportunity to identify individuals at increased risk of developing PsA and to implement preventive strategies. However, identifying individuals at increased risk of developing PsA is challenging as there is no consensus on how this population should be defined. This Consensus Statement puts forward recommended terminology from the Psorias

Macroscopically detected female genital injury after consensual and non-consensual vaginal penetration: a prospective comparison study.

OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study was to compare the prevalence, type and pattern of macroscopically detected female genital injury after consensual and non-consensual vaginal penetration to further an understanding of the forensic significance of genital injury in women reporting sexual assault. A secondary aim was to identify any effect of a range of possible variables upon the likelihood of genital injury resulting from vaginal penetrative sexual intercourse. STUDY DESIGN: Two groups of reproductive age women (aged 18-45 years) were prospectively recruited within 72 h of a single episode of

European consensus statements on pediatric cochlear implantation.

Existing European national guidelines agree to provide cochlear implantation to children with bilateral severe to profound hearing loss and to offer bilateral treatment depending on the hearing status of the best hearing ear and progression of hearing loss, and in the case of congenital hearing loss to do this at the youngest possible age. However, studies and reports demonstrate substantial and persistent disparities in the provision of pediatric cochlear implantation across Europe. Variations in national policies, service quality, and access to timely diagnosis and intervention continue to a

ARISE II Consensus on Venous Sinus Stenting.

In recent years, venous sinus stenosis has been shown to be a key underlying contributor to idiopathic intracranial hypertensions (IIH) and the most common cause of pulsatile tinnitus (PT). Recent advancements in noninvasive venous imaging have improved the detection of venous sinus stenosis in IIH patients, and growing evidence supports a pathophysiological relationship between venous sinus stenosis, reduced cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) absorption, and elevated intracranial pressure (ICP) in a substantial subset of this population. The growing use of venous sinus stenting (VSS) as an effective t

Diagnosis of hypochondroplasia: international Delphi consensus recommendations.

Hypochondroplasia is a skeletal dysplasia caused by pathogenic variants in FGFR3 and characterized by disproportionate short stature and relative macrocephaly. Diagnostic uncertainty remains common, particularly in early childhood and in individuals with mild or atypical presentations, leading to delayed diagnosis, inconsistent management, and challenges in counselling and care planning. Individuals can be affected by medical complications and psychosocial consequences and have unmet needs for multidisciplinary care. To address these unmet needs, an international, multidisciplinary panel of ex

CellOntologyMapper: Consensus mapping of cell type annotation.

CellOntologyMapper automates the standardization of cell type annotations in single-cell RNA-seq by mapping user-defined names to the Cell Ontology (CL) and Cell Taxonomy (CT). The framework constructs a comprehensive embedding database of 19,381 curated cell types using sentence transformers, large language models, and synonym expansion. User inputs, such as abbreviations (e.g., "dNK"), are processed through embedding similarity ranking and LLM amplification to resolve ambiguous or context-dependent labels. The system outputs standardized ontology terms with high accuracy (0.835 for CL, 0.911

MASCC antiemetic consensus recommendations: resource-limited settings.

PURPOSE: Prevention of chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) remains an essential supportive care need for patients receiving cancer treatment. Due to inadequate access to antiemetics in many countries, guideline-recommended CINV prophylaxis is not always possible. Our goal was to formulate antiemetic recommendations for resource-limited settings and define alternative antiemetic regimens for the CINV prophylaxis after highly (HEC) and moderately emetic chemotherapy (MEC), when NK1-receptor antagonists are not accessible. METHODS: The recommendations based on the MASCC/ESMO 2023 Gui
