A Unified Database for a Set of Clinical Studies on the Treatment of Bacterial and Fungal Infections Within the MULTI-SITA Project.

The MULTI-SITA project, an observational pharmacological study involving 30 centers across Italy, required a flexible and scalable data management solution. This paper describes the transition from separate study-specific databases to a unified SQL Server-based system with a modular architecture and a web interface developed in Blazor Server. The new design enhances data interoperability, supports future studies, and simplifies clinician interaction, paving the way for future alignment with the OMOP Common Data Model.

How to improve specific databases for clinical data in rare diseases? The example of hereditary haemorrhagic telangiectasia.

INTRODUCTION: The objectives of reference centres for rare diseases are multiple and mainly concern disease management and coordination between specialties, but they also have to improve knowledge through epidemiological studies and biomedical research. A first database was created by the hereditary haemorrhagic telangiectasia network to achieve these objectives, but facing a lack of data entered in the first database, we established a new database, named CIROCO (Clinical Investigation for the Rendu-Osler Cohort). This new database was constructed after the first database assessment. METHODS:

Hierarchical Multi-View Graph Diffusion Weighted Model for Cancer Subtype Identification.

Accurate cancer subtype identification is crucial for personalized medicine, as it enables precise diagnosis based on molecular characteristics. With the advent of large-scale multi-omics data from various resources, researchers now have unprecedented opportunities to explore cancer subtypes comprehensively. However, the inherent complexity, high dimensionality, and heterogeneity of these datasets present significant statistical and computational challenges, often leading to suboptimal clustering performance when inter-omics heterogeneity is overlooked. To address these challenges, we propose

Improving annotation, access, and comparison of nutritional composition data for underutilized crops.

Open and interoperable data infrastructures are essential to advancing food and nutritional security research, yet few data management systems are specifically designed for crop nutritional datasets that support seamless querying, visualization, and comparison. Existing data sources are often syntactically and semantically heterogeneous, creating substantial barriers to interoperability and data reuse, and ultimately limiting the translation of research into sustainable agricultural innovation. To address this gap, we developed an ontology-based data access and integration (OBDI) framework tha

Global inventory and audit of road injury data systems: a descriptive study using the Road Injury Chain of Survival Framework.

BACKGROUND: Road injury causes an estimated 1.19 million deaths annually and tens of millions of non-fatal injuries worldwide. Despite this burden, post-collision data remain fragmented across police, transport, and health sectors, impeding system-level improvement. The recently proposed Road Injury Chain of Survival framework provides a structure for mapping data needs across five sequential links: Early Recognition, Early Rescue, Early Initial Care, Early Transport, and Early Hospital Care & Rehabilitation. This study aims to identify and describe national and major regional road injury data
