In this paper, cluster analysis (CA), principal component analysis (PCA) and the fuzzy logic approach were employed to evaluate the trophic status of water quality for 12 monitoring stations in Daya Bay in 2003. CA grouped the four seasons into four groups (winter, spring, summer and autumn) and the sampling sites into two groups (cluster DA: S1, S2, S4-S7, S9 and S12 and cluster DB: S3, S8, S10 and S11). An epidemiological survey was undertaken of anisakids in 139 specimens (length: 13.2-24.5 cm) of pouting or bib (Trisopterus luscus) captured off the coast of northern Spain in the Cantabrian Sea. Third-stage larvae of two species of nematodes, Anisakis larvae type I and Hysterothylacium aduncum, were isolated. One adult female H. aduncum was also detected in the intestine of one pouting. AIM: To audit the use of various categories of psychotropic medicines in residential care facilities in Hawke's Bay.
METHOD: Data on psychotropic medicines use for all residents in participating residential care facilities were extracted from community pharmacy records and analysed. These data were compared to a similar study performed in 1990.

This review summarizes some of the principal results of systematic measurements of trace metal concentrations throughout San Francisco Bay that began in 1989, and that have yielded insights on the factors controlling temporal and spatial variations of those concentrations on seasonal to decadal time scales. Their persistence in the environment contributes to long-term pollution in coastal ecosystems. The study aimed to describe and map the different plant communities that occur in Hope Bay (HB), Antarctic Peninsula. Floristic description was based on mosses, lichens and terrestrial algae species, forming a mosaic of cryptogamic plant communities.
