Primary extraosseous Ewing sarcoma located in the abdominal cavity and retroperitoneum is rare. We report the 18F-FDG PET/CT and 68Ga-FAPI-04 PET/CT imaging findings of intra-abdominal Ewing sarcoma. The mass showed mild FDG uptake and avid FAPI uptake.

An immunohistochemical study demonstrates that most of the cholangiocarcinomas have PSMA expression in the tumor neovasculature. PSMA PET findings of cholangiocarcinomas are rarely reported. We describe 68 Ga-PSMA-11 PET/CT and delayed abdominal 68 Ga-PSMA-11 PET/MRI findings in a case of mass-forming type of perihilar cholangiocarcinoma. The tumor showed intense PSMA uptake with SUV max of 10.8 on 68 Ga-PSMA-11 PET/CT and SUV max of 7.8 on delayed 68 Ga-PSMA-11 PET/MRI.

A 53-year-old man presented with right upper abdominal pain for more than 3 weeks without an apparent cause. Multiple sequences of MR imaging detected multiple liver nodules with irregular peripheral enhancement. 18 F-FDG and 68 Ga-FAPI PET showed multiple elevated tracer uptake, which mimicked multiple liver metastases of unknown primary focus. Finally, the pathology of ultrasound-guided biopsy confirmed the diagnosis of hepatic eosinophilic granuloma (HEG).

Kimura disease (KD) is a rare, benign chronic inflammatory disorder characterized by granulomatous inflammation with eosinophilic infiltration. We herein describe 68 Ga-PSMA PET/CT findings of KD in the left axilla in a case of prostate adenocarcinoma. This case indicates that KD may cause false-positive results when using PSMA PET in the staging of prostate cancer.

PURPOSE: Isolated case reports mention the uptake of radiolabeled PSMA in lymphoma. Metastasis to the scrotal sac is a very rare phenomenon. We present a case of a 45-year-old man diagnosed with locally advanced acinar adenocarcinoma prostate, post bilateral orchidectomy and radiotherapy treatment, who showed a rising trend of serum PSA levels with discovery of scrotal sac metastasis on serial Ga-prostate-specific membrane antigen PET/CT scans.

68Ga-prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) ligands are novel PET radiotracers for prostate cancer. These radiotracers also localize in the normal renal cortex to a high degree and can demonstrate parenchymal defects. We recently started a prospective research study to compare 68Ga-PSMA-11 PET/CT with 99mTc-dimercaptosuccinic acid (DMSA) scan in adults with pyelonephritis. A 63-year-old man, recently diagnosed with carcinoma of the prostate (Gleason's score 4+4), with serum prostate-specific antigen 189.2 ng/mL, underwent Ga PSMA PET/CT scan for pretreatment staging. The study revealed abnormal tracer uptake in the prostatic bed region, the pelvic, abdominal, and mediastinal lymph nodes and diffuse metastases to the bilateral lungs. Primary signet ring cell adenocarcinoma of the breast is a rare neoplasm. Similar to other mucinous neoplasms, it has low FDG avidity and poor prognosis compared with the traditional ductal/lobular carcinomas. Prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) is highly expressed in prostate cancer, and the expression increases with tumor aggressiveness, metastatic disease, and recurrence. Despite its name, PSMA is also expressed in neovasculature of other tumors including lung cancer. Here, we demonstrate a case of increased PSMA expression on Ga-PSMA PET/CT in benign lung opacities and bronchiectasis in a prostate cancer patient. Thus, increased PSMA activity in the lungs may be due to both benign and malignant diseases and warrants further evaluation.

We investigated the features and the usefulness of gallium scintigraphy in the diagnosis and the assessment of Adult Still's disease (ASD) by retrospective case review. Constrictive pericarditis, an uncommon cause of diastolic heart failure, is reversible if identified and treated promptly and appropriately. The treatment approach may vary significantly depending on the disease stage of constrictive pericarditis. A 67-year-old woman was enrolled in our 68 Ga-FAPI PET/CT tumor clinical trial due to her lung adenocarcinoma. The PET/CT scan additionally revealed increased uptake of FAPI in the tongue. Combined with the patient's medical history and the contrast-enhanced CT of the maxillofacial region, it was suspected to be a hemangioma. Subsequently, the patient underwent surgery and was diagnosed with capillary hemangioma of the left side of her tongue.
