Male breast cancer is a rare disease with an incidence between 0.5% and 2.4% of that in women. We report a case of intracystic papillary carcinoma of the breast in a 75-year-old Japanese man. The macroscopic features of the carcinoma could be accurately demonstrated by pneumocystography and ultrasonography preoperatively.

OBJECTIVE: To explore the effectiveness of the modified designed bilobed latissimus dorsi myocutaneous flap in chest wall reconstruction of locally advanced breast cancer (LABC) patients.
METHODS: Between January 2016 and June 2019, 64 unilateral LABC patients were admitted. All patients were female with an average age of 41.3 years (range, 34-50 years). Mammary hamartomas are typically a benign condition and rarely develop into malignant lesions. Only 14 cases of carcinomas associated with a hamartoma have been documented in the literature. In this case report, we describe a case of invasive ductal carcinoma within a hamartoma in a 72-year-old woman. Mammography, ultrasonography, and magnetic resonance imaging showed the features of a typical hamartoma with a suspicious mass arising in it. This case illustrates the importance of identification of unusual findings in a typical mammary hamartoma on radiologic examinations.

PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to analyse the surgical procedure and the complications in case of breast reconstruction by deep inferior epigastric perforator flap (DIEP).

A 40-year-old woman, who underwent modified radical mastectomy and chemoradiotherapy for triple-negative left breast cancer, presented with increasing lymphedema of the proximal left upper limb of 2 years' duration. We report a case of breast cancer occurring in a patient with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
