OBJECTIVE: Urinary tract infection is a prevalent and complex clinical condition. To treat urinary tract infections more effectively, we sought to describe the distribution and antibiotic susceptibility of causative organisms in patients.
MATERIALS AND METHODS: We retrospectively analyzed 3,685 patients with urinary tract infections between 2022 and 2023, treated at the Department of Urology of Wuhan Union Hospital. Clinical data, urine culture results, and drug sensitivity test data were collected for further analysis.

INTRODUCTION: To date, the relationship between the causative pathogens and the changes of hematological parameters was rarely referred and deserves further investigation.
METHODOLOGY: A total of 825 adult patients, including 134 negative blood cultures patients and 691 bloodstream infection (BSI) patients, were screened for eligibility in this study. OBJECTIVES: To evaluate the frequency and diversity of extended-spectrum beta-lactamases (ESBLs) produced by Enterobacteriaceae and Pseudomonas aeruginosa in one French region.
METHODS: During 2001-2002, all the non-duplicate isolates of P. aeruginosa resistant to ceftazidime and of Enterobacteriaceae intermediate or resistant to ceftazidime and/or cefotaxime and/or aminoglycosides with an AAC(6') I phenotype were collected in nine hospitals of the area. The in-vitro qualities of ceftazidime, as compared to other beta-lactams and three other antimicrobials (amikacin, gentamicin and chloramphenicol), were evaluated in a multilaboratory, multiphasic study in the United States. Fifteen isolates of Mycobacterium kansasii in Showa University Fujigaoka Hospital between 1982 and 1995 were investigated.
