The Multi-Agentization of a Dual-Arm Nursing Robot Based on Large Language Models.

Nursing robots are designed to serve users, and their ability to interact with humans, as well as to make task-related decisions and decompositions based on such interactions, is a fundamental prerequisite for autonomous execution of nursing tasks. Large language models offer an effective approach to facilitating human-robot interaction. However, their global perspective can lead to confusion or reduced precision when coordinating the execution of tasks by a dual-arm robot, often generating execution sequences that are inconsistent with real-world conditions. To address this challenge, this st

Large language models for pretreatment education in pediatric radiation oncology: A comparative evaluation study.

BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE: Pediatric radiotherapy patients and their parents are usually aware of their need for radiotherapy early on, but they meet with a radiation oncologist later in their treatment. Consequently, they search for information online, often encountering unreliable sources. Large language models (LLMs) have the potential to serve as an educational pretreatment tool, providing reliable answers to their questions. We aimed to evaluate the responses provided by generative pre-trained transformers (GPT), the most popular subgroup of LLMs, to questions about pediatric radiation oncol

Using large language models to create lexicons for interpretable text models with high content validity: The suicide risk lexicon.

Researchers often want to measure a variety of constructs such as anxiety, discrimination, or loneliness in text data from surveys, interviews, social media, and electronic health records. Using large language models (LLMs)-although optimal for text classification-remain infeasible for some researchers due to concerns around computational expertise, cost, privacy, and compute requirements. Therefore, some researchers prefer to use lightweight models for large data sets or interpretable models to avoid mistakes in high-stakes scenarios. Lexicons offer simple baselines to LLMs by searching for r

Using large language models for extracting and pre-annotating texts on mental health from noisy data in a low-resource language.

Recent advancements in large language models (LLMs) have opened new possibilities for developing conversational agents (CAs) in various subfields of mental healthcare. However, this progress is hindered by limited access to high-quality training data, often due to privacy concerns and high annotation costs for low-resource languages. A potential solution is to create human-AI annotation systems that utilize extensive public domain user-to-user and user-to-professional discussions on social media. These discussions, however, are extremely noisy, necessitating the adaptation of LLMs for fully au
