We report a case of a primary Ewing's sarcoma family of tumors (ESFT) that was an incidental finding in the broad ligament of a 53-year-old woman. ESFT now includes tumors previously described as Askin tumor, neuroepithelioma, extraskeletal Ewing's sarcoma, and peripheral primitive neuroectodermal tumor. A mediastinal tumor in a 49-year-old woman with myasthenia gravis is reported. The tumor was well-demarcated and located in the supero-anterior mediastinum. Microscopically, the tumor consisted of thymic and neuroblastic tumor components, the latter of which consisted of immature and maturing neuronal cells, abundant neuropils, and Schwannian stroma. The two components intermingled with each other inside the tumor capsule. The tumor was diagnosed as thymoma with a ganglioneuroblastomatous component. The coexistence of epithelial and neuronal tissues in the thymic neoplasm is extremely rare.

We report four cases of sinonasal teratocarcinosarcoma (SNTCS), a rare malignant tumor that displays combined features of an immature or malignant teratoma and a carcinosarcoma. CD99-Like 2 (CD99L2) is a Type I glycoprotein expressed on leukocytes and endothelial cells as well as other cell types. It is related to CD99, although it shows only 38% sequence identity. BACKGROUND: Differentiating between dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (DFSP) and hypercellular dermatofibroma (DF) can sometimes be challenging, and a panel of immunostains is often employed. We report a case of Ewing's sarcoma located in the ethmoid sinus. The patient complained of facial pain, anosmia and visual defect. Diagnosis was established at microscopic examination with histoimmunochemistry and molecular biology. Lymphoblastic lymphomas (LBLs) are uncommon malignant neoplasms derived from immature T- or B-lymphoid progenitor cells. Mesenchymal chondrosarcoma (MC) is a rare malignant neoplasm bearing characteristic dimorphic pattern histologically. We describe two rare cases of primary MC involving two different visceral organs (1) a 24-year-old man with solid renal mass and, (2) a 42-year-old man with cystic splenic mass. The histological and immunophenotypical features of both lesions were classical of MC. Although this lesion is uncommon in visceral organs, the possibility of this rare entity must be kept in differential diagnosis with compatible morphology.

Solitary fibrous tumor (SFT) is an uncommon mesenchymal neoplasm that usually arises in the pleura. Although this tumor has been described in other sites, including the head and neck area, in the oropharynx it is extremely rare. We report the first case of a SFT arising from the palatine tonsil of a 62-year-old man. The tumor consisted of spindle-shaped cells distributed in a haphazard pattern and presented atypical histological features such as hypercellular areas and high mitotic count. Ectopic hamartomatous thymoma (EHT) is a rare benign tumor. We present a case of EHT, which was seen as subcutaneous mass on the left supraclavicular area in a 19-year-old man.
