Nine patients with progressive urothelial tumors treated with combination chemotherapy were evaluated. The median age of the patients was fifty-four; 6 men and 3 women; 7 of the tumors were of the renal pelvis and/or ureter and at stage C or D at the time of initial chemotherapy.
