We present the case of a 74-year-old Caucasian male with an expansive process of the left kidney. No clinical and laboratory signs of polycytemia or hypertension were present. Microscopically, the spherical main tumor mass was composed of small basophilic cells arranged in longitudinal branching tubules typical of metanephric adenoma (MA). OBJECTIVE: To investigate the clinicopathologic features of pituitary adenoma with neuronal differentiation.
METHODS: Four patients with mixed gangliocytoma-pituitary adenomas between January 2011 and January 2021 and 111 new-onset patients with adenomas between January 2019 and June 2021 who attended the First Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University were included in the study. Eight patients with Nelson's syndrome were treated with a pituitary implant of yttrium-90 or gold-198 four to 16 years after adrenal surgery. All had considerable pigmentation. One already had cranial nerve abnormalities and visual field defects and had had both a craniotomy and deep x-ray treatment. Colon polypectomy can require an injection of a submucosal lifting agent to fully visualize and completely remove the polyp. To the best of our knowledge, this is the largest morphologic series on the novel lifting agents Eleview and Orise. Following total adrenalectomy in Cushing's syndrome associated with adrenal hyperplasia, but not with adrenal adenoma or malignancy, elements of the pituitary may be stimulated to grow rapidly and even aggressively. There is strong evidence to support the idea that there is a pre-existing tumor in many, if not all, of these cases. In some, the tumor may be too small to deform the sella turcica. After adrenalectomy, these patients should be observed carefully and frequently for hyperpigmentation, visual field defects, and sella turcica enlargement.

A detailed review of the microscopic features of 80 nephrogenic adenomas of the urinary tract was undertaken. The lesions occurred in patients who ranged in age from 15 to 94 (average, 52) years. There was a 2:1 male/female ratio. Fifty-five percent of the lesions occurred in the urinary bladder, 41% in the urethra, and 4% in the ureter.
