OBJECTIVES: Retrospective study reporting the management, recurrence and concurrent diseases in dogs with AS in a primary care practice.

A 13-year-old dog was diagnosed with hypercalcemia of malignancy associated with adenocarcinoma of the anal sacs. Bone was collected for trabecular bone morphometry from 6 dogs with hypercalcemia of malignancy.
