As the genomic region containing the Bcl-2-related ovarian killer (BOK) locus is frequently deleted in certain human cancers, BOK is hypothesized to have a tumor suppressor function. We describe a 71‑year‑old man with squamous cell lung carcinoma who underwent metastasis work-up with CT scan and 99m Tc‑MDP bone scintigraphy, which suggested limited extrathoracic skeletal involvement. AIMS: Stereotactic ablative radiation therapy (SABR) is a standard of care for medically inoperable early stage non-small cell lung carcinoma. Tumours greater than 5 cm have been excluded from randomised trials using SABR and, hence, it is not used as a standard for larger lung tumours. However, improvements in radiation therapy techniques and the success of SABR in treatment of early stage disease may allow safe delivery of ablative doses to larger tumours. We analysed our experience with tumours ≥5 cm to determine the efficacy and toxicity profile of SABR in this setting.

We herein report a case of fatal fulminant hepatitis secondary to crizotinib administration. The patient was 54-year-old female with a history of Hepatitis C infection (not current), dermatomyositis and steroid-induced diabetes mellitus.
