The authors have examined ultrasound echograms and photographs of the skin and subcutaneous tissue changes in some skin diseases, reporting their findings. In spite of the preliminary clinical casuistry, this quick, simple and painless technique without irradiation hazard to the patient shows the advantage relating to the other techniques, routine roentenography especially. In conclusion, it is the authors' opinion that the improved scanning technique and greater experience should offer such valuable results, used as an additional method in dermatological diagnostics.

Epistaxis represent a relatively common symptom in the hospitalary Emergencies Services. In our casuistry of 250 consecutive patients assisted and admitted because of that cause in 2 different hospitals of the region between 1996 and 2005, we have noticed the presence of one or more base pathologies or risk factors in originate most of them which could the nose bleeding. These causes are analysed beside the location of the epistaxis and the different treatment options that were used until its resolution.

The agenesis of the gall bladder is a rare congenital abnormality that usually is diagnosed as cholecystolithiasis. Therefore it is an intraoperative discovery. In this work two new cases are added to casuistry; both them have received laparotomic treatment. As those cases were symptomatic patients, the most common clinical manifestations are described. We insist in tactics to discard ectopic locations and the different options for the intraoperative and postoperative study; this last situation seems to be the most used behavior on patients approached laparoscopically.

This article describes the current status of the issue of biliary tract disease in children. There were shown current differences according to age-appropriate. Was presented a new structure of the bile-excreting system diseases, among them dysfunction of the gallbladder and Oddi's sphincter, bile duct abnormalities, biliary sludge, cholelithiasis; cholesterosis of the gall bladder isn't casuistry. Was established necessity of modern intrascope research methods for the differential diagnosis of these diseases. Were identified promising areas of study of biliary tract diseases in childhood.

The Authors, on the basis of the casuistry of the Verona Surgical Centre, concerning the interventions for Crohn's disease from 1973 up to 1983, and comparing the data of literature, study the problem of appendicectomy in Crohn's disease. They suggest the operation of appendicectomy both when there are signs of appendicopathy in course, joined to a pathology of the last ileum ansa, and in presence of apparently sound appendix and clear signs of ileum Crohn's disease. They think it opportune to avoid appendicectomy only in presence of clear signs of involvement of caecum by the morbid process.

AA. are reporting their experience on the subject of the surgical treatment of the rectal prolapse in all his clinical forms, during 12 years of activity that has taken place in the clinical surgery of the University of Ferrara. From their casuistry it is shown that usually this pathology is joined with other morbid forms of the small pelvis which vary according to the degree of the prolapse. They emphasize the excellent results obtained and support the surgical way of laparotomy adopted in the treatment of prolapse of II type (incomplete) and III type (complete).

The present paper is a retrospective study revealing some optic nerve lesions on a group of 1.700 diabetic patients which belonged to the common casuistry of the Ophthalmologic Clinic and Diabetic and Nutrition Diseases Clinic in Craiova. A reduced frequency of optic neuropathy in diabetic persons was established such as: 27 patients (1.58%). Affected optic nerve may present various clinical aspects among which ischemic optic neuropathy is predominant (59.20%) followed by secondary optic atrophy, ischemic optic post neuropathy (33.40%) and juxtabulbar optic neuritis (7.40%).

Anatomy, injury-mechanism and classification will be illustrated with a casuistry of the rate isolated luxation of the ulnar head. Diagnosis is established clinically and with comparative X-rays.
