This monocentric retrospective study included 70 consecutive relapsed/refractory Hodgkin lymphoma (RR-HL) patients receiving reduced-intensity allogeneic stem cell transplantation (alloSCT). We evaluated overall and progression-free survival (OS, PFS), graft-versus host disease/relapse-free survival (GFRS), and chronic GVHD-free OS (cGVHD-free OS) defined as OS without moderate-to-severe cGVHD. Patients had a median age of 33 years (range, 18-60 years), 23% had refractory disease (SD/PD). Donors were HLA identical (39%), unrelated (30%), or haploidentical (31%). Adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC) is a rare malignancy of the larynx. Surgical excision seems to be the preferred treatment modality; however, a paucity of high-evidence suggestions due to the small number of cases have been noted. Here we present the case of a 35-year-old woman with subglottic ACC who denied laryngectomy and opted for concurrent chemotherapy and radiotherapy. She remains disease-free four years later. This case illustrates that concurrent chemoradiation, instead of laryngectomy, should be considered in selected cases.

Peripheral neuroectodermal tumors (PNET) of the kidney are extremely rare. They are often diagnosed at a late stage due to their nonspecific clinical presentation. Treatment of patients with metastases is based on palliative chemotherapy. We here report a case of PNET of the kidney with sudden onset of metastases to the lymph nodes and to the skin. The patient showed good clinical and radiological response and experienced progression-free survival at 6 years after polychemotherapy with vincristine, doxorubicin and cyclophosphamide.

Recurrent ovarian cancer with long-term survival is uncommon and often associated with poor prognosis. Cystic duct carcinoma is known to have a better prognosis compared to its location in other biliary ducts.
