Aggressive angiomyxoma (AAM) is an uncommon locally infiltrative tumor that frequently occurs in the pelvic soft tissues of female patients; it has a high rate of local recurrence. This paper describes age-adjusted mortality from malignant neoplasms for Native Americans in North Carolina for 1968-72 and 1978-82.
