Owing to the low efficacy and acquired resistance in clinical trials of c-Met inhibitors, based on the synergistic effects between c-Met and HDAC, novel c-Met and HDAC dual inhibitors were designed and synthesized. We introduced 2-pyrrolidinone to form the 5-atoms linker for c-Met inhibitor and hydroxamic acid as a zinc binding motif for HDAC inhibitor. A series of multiblock copolymers comprising a systematic combination of biomass-originated and biodegradable poly(butylene succinate) (PBS) and poly(2-pyrrolidone) (PA4) units is synthesized with various mean degrees of polymerization (mDP) of each unit. Despite the inherent immiscibility of PBS and PA4, multiblock structure allows to mix the two components in the solution-cast films from solution. Objective: To estimate the relative efficacy, safety and tolerability of adjunctive brivaracetam and other antiepileptic drugs (AEDs) using a Bayesian network meta-analysis (NMA) approach. Methods: A systematic literature review (SLR) identified randomized controlled trials of AEDs treating focal (partial-onset) seizures for ≥8 weeks and assessed them for inclusion in the NMA. The catalytic dehydration of fructose to 5-ethoxymethylfurfural (EMF) in ethanol provides a promising approach for low-carbon chemical production. However, current catalytic systems generally suffer from a trade-off between reaction efficiency and product selectivity. Many bacterial natural products contain C-branched sugars, including components from the outer cell wall or antibiotically active metabolites. The traditional apprenticeship approach to surgical skill education for young surgeons has drastically changed to more systematic surgical training using cadavers. Cadavers fixed with formalin are not suitable for surgical training because of their associated health hazards and overhardening. Wastewater treatment by duckweed is a naturally sustainable technology. However, its development is limited due to the lack of a follow-up treatment of duckweed. The duckweed was proposed for the treatment of rural domestic wastewater and agricultural wastewater, and it was further processed to produce bio-oil via hydrothermal liquefaction at various temperatures (250 °C-370 °C) and residence times (15-60 min).
