We present a case of left ectopic ureter insertion into the left seminal vesicle which is a rare anomaly. The incidence of ectopic insertion of the ureter is more common in females and is usually associated with incontinence, leading to the diagnosis, while in males it is present with infection. Ectopic ureter is defined as abnormal insertion of the ureter, occurring in the posterior urethra in approximately 50% of cases in males. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of transurethral unroofing in treatment of seminal vesicle cyst.

Seminal vesicle cysts are uncommon abnormalities in the pelvis. The case of a seminal vesicle cyst that extended through the inguinal canal is reported. A 35-year-old man presented with left inguinal swelling. He was diagnosed with a left inguinal hernia. However, the interpretative diagnosis was a spermatic cord tumor. The operation was changed to tumor resection. The tumor existed along with the vas deferens from part of the parietal peritoneum outside the inguinal tunnel to the deep pelvic space. OBJECTIVES: To deepen the understanding of patients with seminal vesicle cyst for correct diagnosis and treatment.
METHODS: Sixteen patients with seminal vesicle cysts were treated in the period of January 1980-May 2002. Their symptoms, diagnostic results, treatment and outcomes were analyzed retrospectively. The mean age of these patients at diagnosis was 31 years (range 19 - 43). Two patients were associated with ipsilateral renal agenesis. Two cases of fistulation into the seminal vesicles are described. One related to Crohn's disease and the other following surgery for carcinoma of the rectum. Both cases were diagnosed by CT sinography. This technique is described and is recommended when attempting to demonstrate the internal communications of difficult perineal fistulae when standard techniques of fistulography fail.

Tuberculosis of seminal vesicles is an uncommon form of genitourinary tuberculosis, frequently presenting with nonspecific symptoms and posing diagnostic challenges. Herein is reported a case of a 33-year-old male with a history of pulmonary tuberculosis in childhood who presented with nonspecific urinary symptoms. Imaging and histopathological findings confirmed tuberculosis of the seminal vesicle. Cystadenoma of the seminal vesicle is a benign epithelial tumor composed of variably sized cysts, lined by bland epithelial cells, and surrounded by fibromuscular stroma. Testicular germ cell tumors, including seminomas, originate mainly from the testicles and rarely from extragonadal locations, often retroperitoneum and mediastinum. Moreover, primary seminal vesicle tumors are extremely rare, and the most described histology is adenocarcinoma. We report, as far as we know, the second case of primary seminoma of the seminal vesicle.

We report a case of seminal vesicle abscess associated with Zinner syndrome. A 26-year-old male was admitted to our hospital because of fever and right scrotal swelling. Ultrasound showed an enlarged epididymis and color Doppler ultrasound showed increased vascularity in the epididymis. We describe an extremely rare case of poorly differentiated neuroendocrine carcinoma arising from the seminal vesicle. A 67-year-old man presented with a left humeral bone tumor resulting in a pathological fracture.
