Duodenal lipid causes gastric relaxation, CCK secretion, and nausea. Vasopressin has been implicated in motion sickness-related nausea. Arginine vasopressin (AVP), oxytocin (OT) and neurophysins (Np) have been found in the pineal gland and the retina of the rat.
