The inevitable regression of molluscum contagiosum (MC) has been the major argument in favor of leaving the lesions to spontaneous involution. But the infection is often widespread and recurrent. Conventional therapies are frequently ineffective and require multiple visits. Flashlamp-pumped pulsed dye laser is now recommended in the therapy of MC in case reports. BACKGROUND: Acne vulgaris is increasingly recognized in adult women; however, few studies have formally evaluated the clinical presentation and factors associated with acne in this population.
METHODS: This prospective, observational international study evaluated the clinical characteristics and lifestyle correlates of acne in adults (≥25 years) at a dermatology visit for acne. Investigators conducted a detailed clinical examination and administered a validated questionnaire that covered medical history, disease evolution, lifestyle habits, previous treatments, skin care and quality of life.

BACKGROUND: Accelerated partial breast irradiation (APBI) has shown non-inferior local control compared to whole breast irradiation, but the optimal external-beam regimen is unclear. This study compares two APBI schedules used at our institution: 38.5 Gy in 10 twice-daily fractions and 28.5 Gy in 5 once-daily fractions delivered every other day.
METHODS: This retrospective, single-institution study includes post-menopausal women with ductal carcinoma in-situ (DCIS) and early-stage hormone receptor positive invasive breast cancer who underwent lumpectomy followed by APBI and endocrine therapy.

BACKGROUND: Topical corticosteroid (TCS) abuse is rampant and results in steroid addiction labeled as topical steroid-dependent or damaged face (TSDF). Indian market is replete with triple combination creams containing TCS sold as over-the-counter products at low cost, luring people to use them without prescription.
