A duodenal-cecal fistula is characterized as an unnatural connection between the duodenum and cecum. Here, we present the case of a 40-year-old male with unintentional weight loss and a history of foreign body ingestion a few years prior. Computerized tomography (CT) small bowel enterography showed a linear soft tissue tract extending from the inferior aspect of the distal duodenum to the cecum. In a total series of 207 complete or partial cecal resections during the last 6 years, 132 cecal lesions were found. 64 of the lesions were malignant and 68 benign. Cecal volvulus is an uncommon cause of intestinal obstruction and acute abdomen. Previous laparotomy and pregnancy may increase the predisposition to cecal volvulus. A man, age 68, presented with two rare clinical entities of adult bowel obstruction. This case showed a caecocolic intussusception (due to a caecal malignant lesion) with a small bowel volvulus secondarily. These are rare but potential life-threatening surgical emergencies.

We report a case of ileocecal intussusception due to Burkitt's lymphoma(BL). A 14-year-old boy was admitted to our hospital for abdominal pain and diarrhea. He was diagnosed an intussusception by the ultrasonography and the CT scan. Laparoscopic ileocecal resection was performed. A diagnosis of BL was made on basis of pathological examination. He was transferred for the chemotherapy on postoperative day 8. A 70-year-old man showing positive results for a fecal occult blood test was admitted to a local hospital. He was suspected of double cancer in the cecum and duodenum. While performing ileocolic and segmental duodenal resections, he was diagnosed with cecal cancer invading the duodenum, following which he underwent surgical intervention. Fifty patients operated upon for cecal volvulus were analyzed. The ages ranged from 14 to 88 years and averaged 53 years. Eighteen were males and 32 were females.
