Prioritizing educational technologies for children with intellectual disabilities under fuzzy MCDM perspective.

Objectives: Children with intellectual disabilities struggled to perform basic tasks in the educational platform due to their deferred learning pace and individual challenges. To assist such needs, the child's individual education program (IEP) team, spearheaded by the school administrators, continues to offer supplementary educational technologies. However, selecting an appropriate technology does not follow an objective system, making the decision process tedious and unreliable. Therefore, this paper provides a new perspective on analyzing the educational technologies for children with intel

[Other care in Parkinson's disease: Psychological, rehabilitation, therapeutic education and new technologies].

Diagnosis of Parkinson's disease (PD) is often traumatic. It is then important to organize this announcement in order to support the patient in this major step of his care course. Anxiety and depression are present in about 50% of PD patients. Besides pharmacological treatment, cognitive-behavioral therapy induces improvement in anxio-depressive symptoms. We have to promote physical activity for PD patients, from the beginning of the disease, because it prevents from deconditioning, improves motor and non-motor symptoms, quality of life, and decreases loneliness. See one, do one, teach one: advanced technology in medical education.

UNLABELLED: The concept of "learning by doing" has become less acceptable, particularly when invasive procedures and high-risk care are required. Restrictions on medical educators have prompted them to seek alternative methods to teach medical knowledge and gain procedural experience. Fortunately, the last decade has seen an explosion of the number of tools available to enhance medical education: web-based education, virtual reality, and high fidelity patient simulation. This paper presents some of the consensus statements in regard to these tools agreed upon by members of the Educational Tech

Teaching the science of life: A multidisciplinary educational approach to reproductive technology debates through the lens of developmental biology.

In vitro fertilization, cryopreservation and pre-implantation genetic testing are transformative reproductive technologies offering hope for individuals facing fertility challenges. Scientifically, understanding the science of developmental biology is essential for comprehending the mechanisms and implications of these technologies. In embryological sciences, biological perspectives identify life as a series of developmental stages ranging from conception to viability, each potentially representing a different 'beginning' of life. However, the concept of ensoulment, rooted in religious and cul
