Background A retrospective review was performed of 15 adult patients who underwent arthroscopic suture anchor scapholunate capsuloligamentous repair between 2021 and 2023. INTRODUCTION: Suture anchors are used in the repair of rotator cuff repair, bankart's repair, SLAP repair, tendoachilles avulsion type injury, bony avulsion of medial collateral ligament of the knee, etc. The cost of preloaded suture anchors varies from INR 4500 to 10,000. Double-loaded suture anchors are better than single-loaded suture anchors in terms of having more hold in the soft tissues and having multiple anchoring points. Non-loaded screw type suture anchors are available with their inserter devices through which one suture stranded can be passed to create single-loaded suture anchor.

BACKGROUND: As the use of all-suture anchors continues to increase, limited biomechanical data on the use of these anchors in various configurations for tenodesis of the long head biceps tendon (LHBT) exists. The aim of this study was to compare the biomechanical properties of a 2-anchor luggage tag suprapectoral biceps tenodesis (Sup-BT) vs. a single-anchor whipstitch subpectoral biceps tenodesis (Sub-BT) using all-suture anchors. Forty of 42 consecutive open capsulorrhaphies with suture anchors for treatment of traumatic recurrent anterior dislocation of the shoulder were reviewed after a minimum follow-up of 2 years.
