A novel type of expression vectors with a dual regulation of both the plasmid copy number and gene expression, is described. HpaA is a H. pylori-specific lipoprotein that has been shown to be an effective protective antigen against H. pylori infection. Adenovirus is one of the most important causative agents of iatrogenic infections derived from contaminated medical devices or finger contact.
