Comparative proteome analysis using brain cerebral cortex tissues from cats and dogs infected with/without rabies virus were conducted using both two-dimensional gel-electrophoresis (2-DE) and 2-D fluorescence difference gel- electrophoresis (2D-DIGE) methods.
