Ultrasonography (USG) allows a new approach to the airway in anaesthesia and intensive care. USG visualises the airway from the mouth to the lungs. This paper reviews the technique used for thoracic -ultrasonography of the bovine lower respiratory tract and the ultrasonographic findings in calves with -bronchopneumonia. Studies that compare the results of auscultation with those of ultrasonography and postmortem examination are included as are studies that examine the relationship between ultrasonographic findings and bacterial lung infection and prognosis. Lesions associated with bronchopneumonia, pleuropneumonia, pneumothorax and lung abscesses are -easily imaged ultrasonographically and characterised in calves.

Point-of-care ultrasonography (POCUS) is performed by a physician at the bedside and is standard practice in obstetric, emergency, and musculoskeletal medicine. OBJECTIVES: The aim of this study was to report our experience with ultrasonography in our routine practice for the diagnosis of cranial deformity in infants.
METHODS: We conducted a single-institution retrospective study of infants referred to our department because of skull deformity. Ankle disorders are a relatively common pathological condition, and ankle injuries account for approximately 14% of sports-related orthopedic emergency visits. Various imaging modalities can be used to make a diagnosis in cases of ankle pain; however, ultrasound (US) has several benefits for the evaluation of ankle pain, especially in the tendons, ligaments, and nerves of the ankle. The purpose of this article is to review the common causes of ankle pathology, with particular reference to US features. In addition, the importance of a dynamic evaluation and a stress test with US is emphasized.

Muscle ultrasound is a useful tool of the neuromuscular disease. On muscle ultrasound, we can detect the affected muscle as increase of muscle echo intensity because of the fibrosis and fatty infiltration. Muscle atrophy and thickened muscle fascia are also visualized with muscle ultrasound. Another advantage of muscle ultrasound compared to other imaging technique is to visualize muscle movement, such as fasciculation. In this paper we review the findings of muscle ultrasound in normal muscle and affected muscle and discuss the possibilities and limitations of muscle ultrasound.
