PURPOSE: The purpose of this retrospective study was to assess the success of pulpotomies performed on an emergency basis and restored with a temporary zinc-oxide eugenol restorative material.

This study was to determine the shear bond strengths of Ni-Cr alloy to Ni-Cr alloy (Group I), Ni-Cr alloy to enamel (Group II), and Ni-Cr alloy to dentin (Group III) using Imperva Dual, DC Metabond, All-Bond, Geristore, and Panavia. All bonded specimens were thermocycled 2000 x (5 degrees C-55 degrees C) after 24 hours and subjected to shear bond testing on a Universal Instron Testing Machine. In all groups of the study, Imperva Dual and CB Metabond had significantly (p < .05) higher bond values than Panavia.

Localized fibrous tumors of the pleura are rare. They are often asymptomatic and may have symptoms based on size, bronchial invasion, or hormone production, or a combination of these. This study evaluated the histologic response of total-etched and nonetched compomer restored cavity preparations. One hundred fifteen class 5 cavity preparations were placed in the teeth of four healthy adult monkeys at 7, 27, and 90 days.
