We report the design and synthesis of 2'-fluoro cyclohexenyl nucleic acid (F-CeNA) pyrimidine phosphoramidites and the synthesis and biophysical, structural, and biological evaluation of modified oligonucleotides. We report a case of acute hemorrhagic edema in a 10-year-old girl caused by adder bite. Therapy consisted of analgesics, antihistamines, corticosteroids. Antivenum serum was applied in a single dose due to severe spreading of the edema. The patient recovered almost completely after 10 days of treatment.
