Nd:YAG lasers have been used to perform noninvasive intraocular surgery, such as capsulotomy for several decades now. The incisive effect relies on the optical breakdown at the laser focus. Acoustic shock waves and cavitation bubbles are generated, causing tissue rupture. Bubble sizes and pressure amplitudes vary with pulse energy and position of the focal point. In this study, enucleated porcine eyes were positioned in front of a commercially available Nd:YAG laser. The feasibility of laser-assisted treatments of medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw (MRONJ) remains poorly understood, so we have therefore systematically evaluated their effectiveness. Introduction: Darier disease (DD) is a chronic disease with high morbidity and limited treatment options. Laser efficacy in the treatment of DD remains understudied. Methods: A literature search conducted between 07/21/2017 and 05/05/2018 identified all original cases of DD treated with laser therapy. Results: Outcomes from 24 patients were reviewed, 22 patients were identified in the literature and 2 cases are included from our institution. OBJECTIVE: To measure the outcomes of laser treatment of cholesteatoma covering cochlear and vestibular fistulas.
METHODS: Cholesteatoma matrix over the fistula was denatured; the power density was sufficient only to gradually heat, but not vaporise, the keratin-forming matrix. The denaturing speed was controlled so that the integrity of the fistula cover was maintained. OBJECTIVE: To assess published reports of oncological surgical success rates in patients who underwent transoral laser supraglottic surgery and robotic surgery for supraglottic cancer.
METHODS: A systematic review of the literature was conducted and a meta-analysis of published data was performed. PubMed, Sage, Medline and Cochrane data sources were investigated. Overall survival rates, disease-specific survival rates, additional treatments and recurrence rates were investigated to determine the success of the surgical procedures.

The aim of this prospective study was to analyze the voice and quality-of-life outcomes of microscopic diode laser surgery (MDLS). The study was conducted on a series of 46 patients with Tis-T1a glottic carcinoma treated with microscopic endolaryngeal diode laser surgery.
