Determination and Ecological Risk Assessment of Organophosphate Esters in Drinking and Environmental Waters by Automated Liquid-Liquid Extraction Coupled with GC-MS/MS.

Organophosphate esters (OPEs) are ubiquitous in the global water environment and may pose potential risks to aquatic ecosystems and human health. Herein, we present a simple and efficient method for accurate quantification of nineteen OPEs in water based on automated liquid-liquid extraction (LLE) with dichloromethane and hexane, followed by gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (GC-MS/MS) with isotope dilution calibration. This method demonstrated a negligible matrix effect, satisfactory recoveries (70-120%), and low limits of detection (0.46-2.32 ng/L). A total of 3, 9, 10, and 11 OPEs

Interpretable automated cobb angle measurement in adolescent idiopathic scoliosis using a lightweight keypoint-to-geometry network: cross-center external validation.

Adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) is routinely quantified on standing coronal radiographs using the Cobb angle; however, manual measurement is time-consuming and subject to intra-observer variability. We propose SpineNET, a lightweight, interpretable keypoint-based framework for automated scoliosis assessment on standing whole-spine posteroanterior (PA) radiographs. SpineNET is built on the YOLOv13 paradigm and enhances cross-scale structural modeling by replacing DS-C3k2 modules with Star-Blocks throughout the backbone and neck, while a lightweight shared-convolution detection head reduce

Automating first-trimester placenta volume measurements in three-dimensional ultrasonography using virtual reality and artificial intelligence: The Rotterdam Periconception Cohort.

INTRODUCTION: Volumetric measurements of the placenta in the first trimester provide insights into placental development and early markers for placenta-related complications. Current manual placental volume (PV) measurement using Virtual Organ Computer-Aided Analysis (VOCAL) on three-dimensional (3D) ultrasound is time-consuming and limited to two-dimensional (2D) planes. We aimed to validate a Virtual Reality (VR)-based 3D PV measurement and develop an automated Artificial Intelligence (AI) method for PV measurement. METHODS: 3D ultrasound images from 83 singleton pregnancies (115 images) at

Feasibility and Acceptability of Automated Texts to Offer, Screen, and Enroll Patients in a Cancer Clinical Trial Financial Reimbursement Program: Mixed Methods Study.

BACKGROUND: Out-of-pocket (OOP) costs pose a significant barrier to participating in cancer clinical trials (CCTs). Financial reimbursement programs (FRPs) that reduce the burden of OOP costs can support participation in CCTs if the information is readily available to participants at the time of enrollment. Prior studies have shown the importance and impact of FRPs, but despite improvements, significant barriers still remain. OBJECTIVE: This study was designed to explore the feasibility and acceptability of automated texts designed to offer, screen, and enroll CCT participants in an FRP for O
