Implementation readiness of artificial intelligence in in vitro fertilization: a multi-framework appraisal with special reference to advanced reproductive age patients.

Artificial intelligence (AI) has advanced rapidly across medicine, and IVF-with its image-rich laboratory workflows, structured cycle data, and measurable endpoints-is among the most amenable fields for integration. Three applications-outcome prediction (T1), stimulation dosing (T2), and radio-frequency identification (RFID) quality tracking (T3)-require no new capital hardware and are immediately deployment-ready, and as professional adoption rose from 24.8% (2022) to 53.2% (2025), the field reached a stratified state of readiness. AI in IVF presents three implementation-relevant findings: th

Validity and Reliability of a 2-Dimensional Artificial Intelligence Camera Software Application to Assess Hand, Wrist, and Forearm Range of Motion.

PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to investigate the psychometric properties of a 2-dimensional artificial intelligence (AI) camera software application (app) for range of motion measurements in the upper extremity. We hypothesized that the 2-dimensional AI-camera app would have excellent inter-rater reliability and high concurrent validity with manual goniometry. METHODS: Fifty patients were prospectively recruited. Patients aged 18-75 years with upper-extremity pathology and no immobilization were eligible for inclusion. For each patient, 27 range of motion measurements were performed,

Artificial intelligence models for osteoporosis risk prediction in postmenopausal women with CKD: A cross-sectional analysis of NHANES 2005 to 2018.

Artificial intelligence (AI) can transform osteoporosis (OP) screening, but its application in high-risk, complex populations like postmenopausal women with chronic kidney disease remains limited. We sought to develop and interpret an explainable AI model specifically for identifying low bone mass (LBM) or OP in this vulnerable group. Using data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (2005-2018), a nationally representative cross-sectional study, we developed and compared 8 AI models. For the purpose of algorithm development and comparison, the complex survey weights of Nati

Artificial intelligence assessment of endoscopic severity and extent: A machine learning approach to continuous evaluation of endoscopic inflammation in ulcerative colitis.

BACKGROUND: The endoscopy subscore is a therapeutic endpoint in ulcerative colitis trials but is limited by reader variability and inability to fully capture the degree of inflammation across the colon. We developed the artificial intelligence assessment of endoscopic severity and extent (AI-ESe), a continuous, more granular assessment of inflammation throughout the colon to better capture the totality of inflammation, rather than a single score based on the worst lesion. METHODS: AI-ESe analyzes endoscopic videos through a multistep process including preprocessing for image quality, endoscop

Artificial Intelligence in the Assessment of Males with Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome: An Up-to-Date UPOINTS-Based Narrative Mapping Review.

Background/Objectives: Male chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CPPS) is a heterogeneous condition involving overlapping urinary, psychosocial, organ-specific, infectious, neurological, myofascial, and sexual phenotypes. This complexity limits the effectiveness of routine symptom assessment and empirical treatment strategies. Artificial intelligence (AI) may support more reproducible interpretation, differential diagnosis, phenotyping, and personalized management. This up-to-date narrative mapping review aimed to identify AI-assisted approaches that are directly or indirectly relevant to the assessm

Advances in the application of artificial intelligence-driven multi-modal imaging technologies in the comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of diabetic foot ulcers.

Diabetic foot ulcers are serious skin wounds that affect many people with diabetes, often leading to severe infections or even the loss of a limb. This paper explores how artificial intelligence -computer programs that can learn from data-is changing the way doctors find and treat these wounds. By reviewing 68 recent studies, we looked at how these smart technologies analyze different types of medical images to help patients. Our findings show that AI can help doctors identify health risks much earlier than traditional methods. These computer tools are also excellent at measuring how a wound i
