Gastrointestinal duplication is a congenital rare disease entity. Gastric duplication cysts seem to appear even more rarely. Herein, two duplications cysts of the stomach in a 46 year-old female patient are presented. Abdominal computed tomography demonstrated a cystic lesion attached to the posterior aspect of the gastric fundus, while upper gastrointestinal endoscopy was negative. BACKGROUND: A rare complication of tubal ligation, expulsion of tubal clips has been sporadically reported in the literature.
CASE: An otherwise well multiparous woman who had undergone two operative deliveries and a tubal ligation presented with menstrual discharge from her laparotomy incision. A 73-year-old man underwent an emergency laparotomy because of acute abdominal pain and a palpable mass in the lower abdomen. A giant vesical calculus was found which had perforated the bladder, small intestine and sigmoid colon due to pressure necrosis. The stone had a length of 11.5 cm and weighed 1280 g. UNLABELLED: DIAGNOSTIC FINDINGS: We report about a 83 years old female with persisting abdominal pain for 3 days. Abdominal x-ray, as well as abdominal ultrasound examination were unsuccessful. CT scan revealed a 7 cm tumor, suspicious for abscess. OPERATION: Diagnostic laparotomy showed a 6 cm inflammatory tumor with covered perforation of a jejunal diverticula at the 4th intestinal loop distal the ligament of Treitz. BACKGROUND: Retroperitoneal lipoma is an extremely rare neoplasm.
AIMS: The authors report a case of giant retroperitoneal lipoma in a 32-year-old white female, with a history of pain and an abdominal mass over a 2-year period. Total abdominal ultrasonography and barium enema showed a large mass located in the retroperitoneal space behind the ascending colon. Laparotomy showed a large encapsulated tumor measuring 20 x 13 x 10 cm and weighing 3.400 g. The histological study revealed a benign neoplasm of fatty cells.

Phytobezoars are a well-known, though rare, cause of mechanical alimentary tract obstruction. They occur mainly in patients who have undergone abdominal surgery, where most literature reports describe the causes as persimmons and oranges. This report describes a new subgroup of familial visceral myopathy. Three patients from within this family were admitted to the hospital with pseudo-obstruction. Barium x-ray, abdominal plain film, esophageal manometry, colonoscopy, gastroscopy, and echocardiography were performed in all siblings for diagnostic evaluation. BNM, a 40 years Hindu male presented with history of intermittent fainting attacks and had increase in body weight for last 2 years. He used to take a lot of sweets to recover from the attact. His body wht was 100 kg. His fasting blood sugar was 50 mg/dl and insulin glucose (I/G) ratio was 0.6. CT scan of abdomen showed one solitary tumour in the body of pancreas near its tail. Laparotomy was done. The tumour was found to be a benign insulinoma on microscopic examination. Though the postoperative period was uneventful but he succumbed probably due to pulmonary embolism.

Three cases of benign pelvic tumors are presented (2 leiomyomas and 1 fibroma). All three tumors were suspected of being malignant neoplasms because they were visualized as heterogeneous high signal intensity on T2-weighted images, and thus they were difficult to diagnose preoperatively.
