It has been used in human neurosurgery for almost forty years, primarily for the accurate placement of subcortical probes for the production of therapeutic lesions in the treatment of movement disorders and pain. Cranial computed tomography (CT) was used to estimate the frequency and permanence of brain abnormalities in 108 consecutive children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). A 31-year-old woman with acute myelomonocytic leukemia presented with meningeal signs and a cerebellar mass attributed to leukemic infiltration. The role of cellular immunity, humoral antibody, and interferon in recovery from primary systemic infection in mice due to herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) was studied. BACKGROUND: Neoadjuvant therapy (NAT) is increasingly used among patients with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). Patients with PDAC commonly present with sarcopenia, which may progress during the period of NAT and subsequently impact treatment outcomes. BACKGROUND: The impact of the new chemotherapy, fluorouracil plus leucovorin, oxaliplatin, and docetaxel (FLOT) on body composition in gastric cancer (GC) patients remains unknown. We assessed body composition changes of GC patients receiving the FLOT regimen and their impact on treatment outcomes.

BACKGROUND: Neoadjuvant chemotherapy in patients with primary osteosarcoma improves survival rates, but it also causes side effects in various organs including bone. Low bone mineral density (BMD) can occur owing partly to chemotherapy or limited mobility. This can cause a higher risk of fractures compared with those who do not receive such treatment.
