The minute valvatiform-shelled Hydrobiidae are less studied than other hydrobiid gastropods. Cryptorchidism is a genital alteration wherein one or both testicles fail to descend into the scrotum and has multifactorial causes. A free-range adult male was captured twice in the Pantanal of Nhecolândia to put a GPS collar and semen collection. Pharmacological semen collection, andrological examination and semen analysis were performed. RATIONALE: Circumcision is one of the most frequently used surgical procedures worldwide. Extensive penile skin defects, which can occur as a rare but severe complication of circumcision, are serious and frustrating problems for patients who experience them. Procedures for correcting these problems can pose a challenge to plastic surgeons in the clinic.
PATIENT CONCERNS: A 31-year-old man was admitted to our care with an extensive defect of the penile skin caused by a circumcision performed 20 days previously.

OBJECTIVE: To observe the morphological changes of the live Aleuroglyphus ovatus and the ultrastructure under scanning electron microscope (SEM) at different developmental stages.
