In the submitted paper the authors give an account of their experience with the treatment of a patient with severe scrotal hypoplasia which is a very rare inborn defect. A case of 'chromatic-lexical' (colour-word) synaesthesia is described, and its genuineness confirmed using the criterion of stable cross-modality imagery across time. The synaesthesia could not be accounted for by a memory hypothesis, nor was it associated with any psychiatric condition. Forty episodes of sepsis in 28 patients with leukemia or lymphoma were reviewed. Streptococcus pneumoniae accounted for 14 episodes and was the most frequent etiologic agent isolated. A three year survey on sheep deaths and their causes was conducted on 10 commercial farms in the north of Scotland. Diseases and other trauma associated with the perinatal period accounted for 56.81% of all ewe deaths, while pneumonia, parasitic gastroenteritis, torsion of the bowel and haemorrhagic enteritis (redgut) accounted for a further 21.7%. METHODS: This was a retrospective cross-sectional study of 198,628 pediatric ED visits to a women's and children's hospital in China from January 1 to December 31, 2021.
