"Lipodissolve" (LD) is a non-FDA-approved solution of phosphatidylcholine in deoxycholate that was developed around 2004. A study of its safety reported minor and uncommon side effects including pain, tender nodules, pigmentary alterations, and ulceration at the site of injection. Cytokeratins (CKs) 5 and 6 are functionally unrelated but often analyzed together using bispecific antibodies in diagnostic immunohistochemistry. To better understand the diagnostic utility of CK5 or CK6 alone, tissue microarrays with > 15,000 samples from 120 different tumor types as well as 608 samples of 76 different normal tissues were analyzed by immunohistochemistry. AIM: Membranous nephropathy (MN) and primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) are autoimmune diseases that coexist in some cases and might share a common pathogenesis. Background. The expression of terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase (TdT) in myoepithelial cells (MECs) within the breast was recently incidentally observed in our routine practice. This study aimed to elucidate the expression of TdT in MECs. Methods. TdT immunostaining was performed on 180 mammary, 89 cutaneous, and 94 salivary tissues or lesions.
