BACKGROUND: The details of the clinical characteristics of patients with chronic pulmonary aspergillosis (CPA) have not been fully understood.
METHOD: One hundred twenty-nine consecutive patients with isolation of Aspergillus species by culture from respiratory specimens who attended our hospital between October 2001 and September 2009 were enrolled. Patients diagnosed with chronic pulmonary aspergillosis (CPA) were retrospectively reviewed for clinical characteristics and prognosis, compared with patients with Aspergillus species colonization.

OBJECTIVE: To compare the efficacy and toxicity of late course accelerated hyperfractionated radiotherapy (LCAF) with conventionally fractionated (CF) radiotherapy in the treatment of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC).

OBJECTIVE: To measure the expression pattern of STAT2 in cervical cancer initiation and progression in tissue sections from patients with cervicitis, dysplasia, and cervical cancer.

A consecutive series of patients with a hydroxyapatite-coated uncemented total knee replacement (TKR) performed by a single surgeon between 1992 and 1995 was analysed. All patients were invited for clinical review and radiological assessment. Revision for aseptic loosening was the primary outcome.
