Testicular torsion (TT) is an acute urological emergency where the testicle twists around its axis, resulting in vascular compromise. Without immediate surgical intervention, it can result in testicular necrosis. Bilateral TT is rare and accounts for under 2% of TT cases. We present a case of an adolescent who showed unilateral symptoms of TT. On surgical exploration, TT was found bilaterally as well as »bell clapper deformity«. Orchiopexy was performed bilaterally. This case suggests that Orchiopexy should only be performed after a proper examination of both testicles.

Congenital anomalies of the kidney and urinary tract (CAKUT) are diagnosed in approximately 3-6 per 1000 live births and represent a spectrum of urologic conditions impacting the kidneys, ureter, bladder, and urethra.1 Although both are considered under the classification of CAKUT, there is no known unifying pathophysiologic mechanism for ureteroceles and posterior urethral valves with only 1 case report noted in the literature. Herein we report the only documented case of a patient with CAKUT related to posterior urethral valves, ureterocele, and multicystic dysplastic kidney.

Chronic testicular pain represents up to 5% of urological consultations. A simple workup can help identify an organic etiology in 50 to 75% of cases, leading to a targeted treatment. The article provides a rare observation of a 34-year-old woman who, 12 years before admission to a urological clinic, a gynecologist installed an intrauterine contraceptive device (IUD). The subject migrated into the abdominal cavity, and after 10 years the patient developed dysuria and hematuria. In October 2017, ultrasound and cystoscopy revealed the migration of IUD into the bladder. A foreign body was removed from the bladder - an IUD of a T-shape with the formation of a stone on it with a maximum size of 4.5 cm. During a follow-up examination after 2 years, pathology was not established.

Prostatic calculi are often found incidentally during a clinical and radiological examination. However, in some instances, large or multiple calculi may cause severe lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS). Its current significance concerning urological diseases and symptoms remains obscure. Bicycle riding has multiple beneficial cardiovascular effects; however, it is a well-documented source of significant urologic injuries. Priapism is a rare condition in children, and occurs primarily because of congenital hematologic diseases or adverse drug reactions. A pediatric clinical case and literature review of a high-flow priapism secondary to cycling trauma is described here to highlight their etiopathologic correlation. Ketamine is gaining popularity among Danish drug users. We present the first three reports of ketamine-induced urinary symptoms in Denmark. The patients were 22-27 years old and were all referred to urological departments due to microscopic or macroscopic haematuria. In addition, all three patients reported pain from the penis and the gut, respectively. No specific pathology was found and all patients admitted to ketamine abuse. The cases illustrate that Danish physicians must be aware of potential side effects to ketamine abuse.

Priapism is an urological emergency which requires investigation, especially to differentiate between ischemic and non-ischemic priapism. Initial management is carried out through aspiration and gasometry of blood from the corpus cavernosum. We report the case of a 69-year-old patient with urothelium carcinoma of the bladder T2 G3 and metastasis in urethra/corpus cavernosum who requested an emergency consultation because of edema and a penile erection lasting several days. Due to the poor prognosis and the imaging test, a conservative management was carried out.
