The patho-anatomical findings in 3 Danish Holstein-Friesian calves affected with bovine leukocyte adhesion deficiency (BLAD) are described. A soluble form of the intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (sICAM-1) was measured in paired cerebrospinal fluid (CSF)/blood samples from 123 patients with different neurological diseases.
