PATIENTS AND METHODS: Between April 2007 and July 2011 patients attending MH Diyarbakir Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital and MH Seferihisar State Necat Hepkon Hospital who underwent ECC were included in this retrospective analysis.

X-Linked dystonia parkinsonism (XDP) is a rapidly progressive and disabling neurodegenerative disease affecting mainly male Filipinos with origins from Panay Island. We reviewed all the past neurosurgical ablative procedures done for XDP patients listed in the Philippine XDP registry. Different pathogens cause different outcomes for patients with sepsis. They influence intensive care unit (ICU) mortality, ICU length of stay (ICU LOS) and the need for mechanical ventilation (MV). We undertook a retrospective data-based analysis over a 6-y period. This study was undertaken to examine prognosis after resection for M1 disease in squamous cell esophageal carcinoma. Fifty-six patients with M1 esophageal cancer underwent esophageal resection with two or three-field nodal dissection from 1994 to 2001. Operative mortality occurred in 3 patients.
