BACKGROUND: Ewing sarcoma is a rare and aggressive bone or soft tissue cancer that primarily affects children and adolescents. Estimated incidence of Ewing sarcoma is reported to be 1.2-2.9 in one million individuals in England and 1 in one million in the US. Objective of the study was to determine the pattern, and influence of gender and age on chemotherapy-induced toxicities in children with Ewing sarcoma. This descriptive case series was carried out at the Department of Paediatric Oncology, CMH Rawalpindi, from January 2014 to June 2023.

BACKGROUND: Undifferentiated small round cell sarcomas (URCSs) represent a diagnostic challenge, and their optimal treatment is unknown. We aimed to define the clinical characteristics, treatment, and outcome of URCS patients.
METHODS: URCS patients treated from 1983 to 2019 at 21 worldwide sarcoma reference centres were retrospectively identified. Based on molecular assessment, cases were classified as follows: (1) CIC-rearranged round cell sarcomas, (2) BCOR::CCNB3-rearranged round cell sarcomas, (3) unclassified URCSs. Dedifferentiated liposarcoma (DDL) frequently involves the retroperitoneum. We report two cases of synovial sarcoma arising in the vulva. The patients were 30 and 37 years old and presented with a painless mass that was interpreted clinically as a cyst. The tumors were 2.0 and 1.2 cm in greatest diameter. A search of the medical literature published since 1950 disclosed 19 cases of probable AIDS reported before the start of the current epidemic. Primary cell suspensions were prepared from mouse sarcoma by enzymatic digestion with pronase. The cells were incubated with gallium citrate Ga 67 or the basic drug 14C-chlorpromazine (CPZ) for up to 1 h at 37 degrees C, and the label uptake was determined. BACKGROUND: Primary sarcomas of the liver are extremely rare in adults. Optimal therapeutic approaches remain unclear.
METHODS: Twenty consecutive adult patients who had surgical treatment for primary hepatic sarcomas were reviewed. Patient age ranged from 23 to 80 years. Other than one patient with primary hepatic angiosarcoma who had a history of thorium dioxide colloid (Thorotrast) exposure 23 years before diagnosis, no predisposing causes were apparent.
